"Their service across the team was just outstanding. From our initial phonecall to the company they did a great job in that the office staff listened to our queries, and when they realised we didn't really know what we needed, they arranged for their most experienced staff member to make a personal visit to our property to assess our needs. His advice was absolutely spot on in that we needed about ten truck loads of gap 60 with fines. He told us how to best compact it in the dry weather we had been experiencing for months. When the trucks came, there was one driver who was 'old school' in his thinking in terms of delivering the best possible service. He took charge over the other drivers telling them where to turn, how to turn and how to trail the metal - it wasn't just about dumping it off and see ya later!
The service we received from this family company made things so much easier for my wife and I - we were able to get our whole driveway sorted before the winter set in which allowed us to have easy access to our property so we could carry on building.

"They provide incredibly good service and the product supplied is always of an excellent standard. Sometimes they advise they are pushed..is a really busy time..as always..and there may be a short delay/days before delivery (which we have to expect) BUT next thing...they phone and metal or fertiliser is on its way. I believe they must work like trojans in order to accommodate everyone.
Also...the chaps that are on the trucks that deliver...they are incredibly accommodating also...and skilled at what they do. Metalling NEVER requires any touch-ups and they will even come back over it a few times in the truck to compress it...just SUCH good service.

My business, E-Bin Sewerage Systems use their lime rock in our fully passive, environmentally friendly wastewater treatment systems. They have been very supportive of the E-Bin System and its benefits to the environment. In the past I used cart my own drainage metal. The boys in the quarry were always super friendly and a real "crack up"!

"Bellinghams provided outstanding service recently when we needed nine truck loads of gravel for a new driveway. I live and work two hours from the new site so it was highly desirable that they make the deliveries without my attendance The communication was clear and timely, the nine deliveries over a two month period and three different sets of instructions went without a hitch, farm gates were left as they were found, invoicing was timely and as we'd agreed and I always received confirmation that each delivery was made. The last two loads came with a hand drawn map emailed to me showing the driver's recommendations where gravel should be spread to allow access by a larger truck. This level of initiative by a supplier and interest in the job is not something I've encountered in Northland since moving here in 2013.
I have been very impressed in my dealings with Bellinghams and I feel they richly deserve my nomination above any other supplier I've dealt with in the last six years".

They took time to show me their range of rubble stone products and to understand exactly what I needed for dry stone walling. Together we were able to match my requirements with the correct size of stone. They were then happy to grade and select it and to load the trucks with the sizes required for each sequence.
